4. Prepare traffic and transportation annual report.
5. Survey and analyze people’s feedback on works related to the department’s main roles.
6. Provide statistic and academic information to internal and external departments as well as other interested parties.
7. Provide consultation, advice and participate in research conducted within the department.
8. Collaborate or aid the collaboration with related departments within and out of Bangkok to integrate the statistic and research data on traffic and transportation.

The Traffic Informatic Center has the following authorities:
1. Prepare master plan and informatic technology implementation plan for the department.
2. Study, analyze, design, develop the database and prepare the Geographic Information System (GIS) to support the executive work and decision making as well as provide service related to traffic and transport to the people.
3. Prepare traffic and transportation and road safety database to support the decision makers.
4. Study, design, prepare and manage the department website and other technological media.
5. Study, analyze, design, install and supervise computer network system internally and externally in the department.
6. Train, educate and instruct computer hardware and software knowledge to the department personnel.

The Planning and Evaluation Section has the following authorities:
1. Study and analyze the feasibility of the department plan and project as well as integrate the collaboration plan with related sectors and implement those plans.
2. Follow up, coordinate and give consultation in strategic and action planning.
3. Evaluate plans, projects and report implementation of Bangkok strategic plan results as well as public sectors action plan and other related plans.
4. Follow the traffic and transportation safety plan.
5. Study, analyze, develop, advise and disseminate on traffic and transportation safety.
6. Coordinate, direct, follow up, analyze, evaluate and adjust traffic and transportation safety action plan according to circumstances and technology variation.
7. Study, analyze, disseminate and encourage training, meeting and seminar on traffic discipline for minor and general public.

4. Coordinate between inland and foreign country on traffic and transportation academics as well as traffic safety of other departments.
5. Study, analyze, survey and design ways to improve traffic and transportation in Bangkok.
