The Traffic Technology Division has the following authorities:
          1.  Study, survey, design, install, inspect and develop a traffic and safety information technology, communication network system, closed-circuit television (CCTV), Intelligent Transport System (ITS) and the safety of people’s lives and asset with advanced technology.
          2.  Be the central control of communication by optic fiber cable, CCTV and digital trunked radio system in Bangkok for the safety and convenience of transportation and to be the center of coordination with related sectors.
          3.  Develop and maintain the CCTV and communication network of Bangkok in managing, implementing and servicing the people as well as propagating through various media.
          4.  Perform other related or assigned duties.
          Dividing into internal division as follows:
                   The General Administration Section has the following authorities:
                             1.  Correspondence and general administration
                             2.  Human resources and disciplinary
                             3.  Budgeting, financing and accounting
                             4.  Supply work
                             5.  Public relations
                             6.  Administration and coordination, conference, secretarial work 
                             7.  Premises and vehicle supervision work
                             8.  Other related or assigned duties
                   The Traffic System Center has the following authorities:
                             1.  Study, survey, design, install, inspect, maintain, manage and develop smart traffic and transport system with advance technology to provide the highest efficient traffic and transport in accordance with traffic regulations.
                             2.  Study, design and manage the Traffic System Center and inspect real time traffic condition and system. Promote dissemination on different type of traffic as alternatives for the people such as color lines showing traffic condition, smart traffic sign and any other informing system.
                             3.  Manage, supervise, maintain and develop Bangkok digital trunked radio system as well as other communication system of Bangkok.
                             4.  Other related or assigned duties.
                   The Traffic Technology Section 1 has the following authorities:
                             1.  Study, design, install, manage and maintain CCTV and safety system, as well as connecting signal to central control center and other sub-control center in each district.
                             2.  Study, design, install, manage, supervise and maintain communication network of Bangkok, computer communication data, traffic data, CCTV data linking system, safety system through different signal transmission to achieve efficient use.
                             3.  Other related or assigned duties.
Covering following areas: northern Bangkok, central Bangkok, eastern Bangkok.
                   The Traffic Technology Section 2 has the following authorities:
                             1.  Study, design, install, manage and maintain CCTV and safety system, as well as connecting signal to central control center and other sub-control center in each district.
                             2.  Study, design, install, manage, supervise and maintain communication network of Bangkok, computer communication data, traffic data, CCTV data linking system, safety system through different signal transmission to achieve efficient use.
                             3.  Other related or assigned duties.
